State Net - 50-State & Territories Bill Information Service (BIS) | Creation of an NCSL account required
NCSL has partnered with State Net/LexisNexis to provide legislators and legislative staff access to State Net’s legislative tracking and research software, allowing them to search and filter legislation from the 50 states, Washington D.C., Congress, and the territories. Members have access to the full text of every bill, summaries, and other state resources such as fiscal notes, staff summaries, and sponsor memos. In addition to bills, NCSL members can also search executive orders and ballot measures.
The Bill Information Service (BIS), also contains additional legislative resources, such as weekly session schedules, links to live hearings, session statistics, and other state-specific resources.
